As part of Community Advocacy for Merritt Island’s cornerstone for Civic Education, the following site plan shows the area of redevelopment along 520 and the intersection of Plumosa. Formerly the Mike Erdman property, this redevelopment by Matthew Development will bring a new Wawa station, Chipotle Restaurant, and car wash. There is a vacant parcel for future development. Construction of the Wawa and Chipotle are well underway.

 

In addition this month, the Waffle House Corporation submitted a site plan for a new Waffle House on N. Courtenay Parkway, formerly the site of Pizza Hut.
